Husband & Father.
Corporate Recruiter.
Triathlete.
In that order.
The demands of a family and a corporate leadership position can wreak havoc on the consistent training needed to a be a competitive age-group endurance athlete. Many lessons learned have shown me how to maintain just enough balance to make it possible. Add date nights, kids' sporting events, walking the dog, and DIY projects among other things and it is a constant juggling act.
Multi-sport training is a lifestyle and requires sacrifices. Weeks can be stressful, but I wouldn't change a thing.
After more than 20 years in triathlon, I try not to take myself and everything so seriously and just live life in the moment.
